WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE, WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!!!
Congratulations to everyone who played in any of our league matches. We WON on goal difference!
COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well done to all those girls who played against Gwent A in the league final. A real battling performance against our best opposition by far. A hard earned 2-2 draw which was a fair reflection of the game even though they got their equaliser with 10 seconds left on the clock. But we won the league on goal difference so well done everyone. Final placings are:
Team Played Won Points
Swansea Bay 4 3 10
Gwent A 4 3 10
W/Saints A 4 2 6
Rhondda 4 1 3
Penarth 4 0 0"); document.writeln("

Another great battling performance against Whitchurch saw our u15 girls climb to top of the league table. The next match after Christmas against Gwent will decide who wins the league title as Gwent are also undefeated.
Results so far:
Swansea 4, Penarth 0
Swansea 6, Rhondda 1
Whitchurch 2, Swansea 4

Well done to all the girls who played in our first u15 league match on Sunday against Penarth. It was great to see everyone competing for the ball. They were all ‘up for it’ and although there were some lovely passing moves, it was their determination to win all those 50:50 balls that made us finish 5-0 winners in the end.

Swansea Bay won 5 NATIONAL TITLES at the Welsh Cup finals that were held on 7/8th May 2011 in the following age groups:
U11, U15 & U17 boys. U13 girls & U18 girls. Sadly, our u13 boys just lost out on goal difference. Well done everyone!
U11 Boys: Won all 3 matches.
U13 Boys: Won 2, Lost 1. Lost out on goal difference to Colwyn Bay who they had beaten earlier.
U15 Boys: Ben Francis netted 5 in a 9-1 thrashing of Colwyn Bay.
U17 Boys: Beat Colwyn Bay 3-2 in an exciting, competitively fought final with a goalkeeping masterclass display from Myles Gamage.
U11 Girls: Drew 2, lost 1 but could easily have won them all with a bit more luck in front of goal.
U13 Girls: Won 2 and drew their last game 0-0 against Gwent (who had also won 2) to win on goal difference. A gutsy, nail-biting display from the whole team with some great saves pulled off by Charlie Lewis-Brown.
U18 Girls: Won 2 and drew with Swansea Ladies 0-0 to win on goal difference. This achievement was even more remarkable when you consider most of the team are u16 and not one of them in the Wales u18 squad (whilst Whitchurch and Penarth have 15 between them).
Our Junior Presentation Evening will be at the Cricketers at 6pm on Saturday 11th June. There will be a parents v childrens match beforehand at 4pm. Be there or be square!"); document.writeln("
